Consistory is the governing body of Christ Church and is composed of the pastor, elected elders and deacons, and a youth representative. Their duties include handling the day-to-day activities of the church, monitoring and leading the various volunteer ministries and committees of the church, approving operating budgets for congressional approval and approval of all contracts with the church (staff, outside vendors, etc.).
The Consistory meets once a month. The meetings consist of a review of plans and activities scheduled by the church, a report from the pastor, a review of the most recent monthly financial report and reports from the various ministries and committees (Spiritual Council, Property & Grounds, Outreach, Worship, etc.)
