Small Group Ministries

Christ Church offers various small group opportunities for parishioners to become involved. Here at Christ Church we encourage everyone to become involved.

Women’s Fellowship – The Women’s Fellowship group meets monthly at 10 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month for study and fellowship.

Renewal Prayer Group –  The Renewal Prayer Group meets at 7PM the last Tuesday of the month to pray for the many needs and concerns of Christ Church. We welcome all who share our burden for prayer as we pray for renewal, our pastors, leaders, the youth, and the various programs. “Much prayer, much power—little prayer, little power.”

Healing Services –  Healing Services are held twice a year right after the worship services. Persons who desire healing are invited to come forward for the anointing of oil, laying on of hands and prayer for healing.

Ushers’ Club – The Ushers’ of Christ Church invite all member of the congregation. The ushers’ greet worshipers, provide a bulletin, and offer any help at worship services.

Wedding Coordinators – The wedding coordinators meet with the couple to be married and help to plan the details of the wedding day.  They are in attendance at the rehearsal and wedding ceremony to ensure that the ceremony is conducted in accordance with the plans.

Mothers Plus – The Mothers Plus group meets the third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. for a program and fellowship. Mothers Plus also sponsors a coffee hour on Sunday morning. Mothers Plus donates money for the youth program of the church.

Prayer Circle - The Intercessory Prayer Circle meets the first Tuesday of each month (with the exception of June, July and August) at 10:00 AM in the Church Parlor. The group constantly have a “hot” Prayer Line—where we contact one another by e-mail, phone or notes. The group prays for those who are ill or in need–whether a church member or not. Prayer Cards are located at the Information Desk, just fill in the card and drop in the Prayer Box. Your request will be honored for one month of daily prayer—if more prayer is needed, just fill in another card.
